All Spanish, Latvian, Slovak and Bulgarian certificates have been sent to the related project partners. F4ESL trainees can request their certificates by contacting the F4ESL partners in their own country. For the other countries, the certificates will be sent by the coordinator gradually.

F4ESL Project Teaches EU Food Safety Legislation

F4ESL, From Farm to Fork European Food Safety Legislation Project awarded its graduates with a certificate ceremony on 7th October 2011. The project partners, leading representatives of food sector, successful F4ESL trainees –not only from Turkey but also from Spain, Greece, Bulgaria, Bosnia Herzegovina, and United Arab Emirates- attended to the Ceremony. The Project Coordinator, Samim Saner gave the opening speech and said: “F4ESL training program is a first within its scope with its holistic “From Farm to Fork approach” and provided a unique education opportunity for more than 2026 people from 55 different countries”

F4ESL Final Meeting was Held in Istanbul

The final meeting of F4ESL project was held between 5th and 7th October in Istanbul. The hosting organization was the Project coordinator: Kalite Sistem Group.

1st Training Session of F4ESL Started!

The 1st pilot training session of our Project started on 3rd April 2011. In this training session which is presented only in English, the trainees are expected to finish all exams within 2 months. The participants, who take minimum 60/100 from the final exams at the end of each module, will be considered successful and will deserve to receive certificate.
 
The preparations for the 2nd training session, which will start in June 2011 in Turkish, Bulgarian and English languages, are still continuing.

3rd Meeting of our Project was held in Spain!

 The third meeting of our F4ESL Project was held on 21st-23rd March in Valladolid in Spain. The host organization was the project’s Spanish partner: ITACYL- Agro-Food Technological Institute of Castilla and Leon.
 
All of the partners attended to this 3-day meeting, and the agenda of the meeting included past project activities, project pilot trainings, e-learning infrastructure and design, future project activities and the importance of project dissemination. Each partner presented their past activities and also informed the project team regarding their future plans on F4ESL. Project coordinator made a presentation about financial and administrative issues by considering the final report.

F4ESL at 2nd Food Safety Congress

F4ESL Project Team Member Tuğçe Sağdur, attended 2nd Food Safety Congress which was held in Istanbul Harbiye Military Museum between 9-10 December 2010.
It is organized by cooperarion of IAFP- International Association for Food Protection and Ministry of Agriculture and 23 trade body and non-govermental organization attended.
At the Congress F4ESL project was presented and participants were informed about the project. Project poster also was presented.

F4ESL at 1. International Congress on Food Technology

F4ESL Project Team Member Tuğçe Sağdur attended 1. International Congress on Food Technology in Antalya between 3-6 November 2010.
The theme of the Congress is “Catching the Innovations in Food Science and Technology in the Evolving World”. National and international speakers  presented information on a variety of Issues on food science and technology and discussed the solutions to enhance food technology. 
From 41 countries totally 482 participants attended to congress.

F4ESL at 18th EFLA Congress

KSL General Manager and F4ESL Project Coordinator Samim Saner was invited to 18th EFLA Congress that is organized by European Union Food Law Institute to give a seminar called as “ Impact of the private standards on the food safety level in Turkey”. Food legislation specialists from Europe and different parts of the world participated in this 2-days congress held in Amesterdam. Furthermore, F4ESL flyers were delivered and participants were informed about the Project in the EFLA Congress.

F4ESL 2nd Project Meeting was held in Slovakia

F4ESL From Farm to Fork European Food Safety Legislation Training Project coordinated by KSL, has been continuing its activities. Before the pilot trainings to be held in early 2011, the 2nd partnership meeting of the project was held in Nitra, Slovakia between 12 and 14 July 2010. Most of the project staff from Turkey, Bulgaria, Netherlands and Slovakia participated in this 3-day meeting.

F4ESL at IAFP’s 6th European Symposium

F4ESL Project Coordinator, Mr. Samim Saner, attended IAFP’s 6th European Symposium on Food Safety in Dublin (Ireland) between 9 and 11 June2010.

The Symposium, featuring a mix of speakers from government, academia and industry, was an excellent forum to learn about the latest developments in food science and safety.

F4ESLF4ESL Project Coordinator, Mr. Samim Saner, attended 5th Central European Congress on Food 2010 in Bratislava (Slovakia) between 19 and 22 May 2010.

The congress attracted much attention and focused on latest progress in fundamental and applied food science, research and development, innovative technology, food safety and market, functional and bioactive food, new trends in nutrition and health.
