FP7 Food-Agriculture-Fisheries and Biotechnology Field Call 2011

Food- Agriculture- Fisheries and Biotechnology Field Call 2011 was opened on July 20, 2010. In the call, not only researches on  developing and optimizing agricultural production, soil and water management, animal health and welfare, fisheries and aquaculture production system, but also some other researches on food quality and safety, prevention of nutrition based diseases, healthy diet and consumer choices, food processing sciences, biotechnology-based processes, plant and enzyme biotechnology, environmental biotechnology, biorefinery, synthetic biology, research of environmentally sensitive products, marine and freshwater biodiversity will be supported. Food- Agriculture- Fisheries and Biotechnology Field Call 2011, encoded as FP7- KBBE-2011-5 has 240.27 Million Euro support budget and will be closed on January 25, 2011 (17:00 at Brussels local time). CEFood 2010, 19th-22nd May 2010, Bratislava (Slovakia)

The Food Research Institute in Bratislava is organizing a 5th Central European Congress on Food 2010 to be held in Bratislava (Slovakia), from 19th to 22nd May 2010. The conference will focus on latest progress in fundamental and applied food science, research and development, innovative technology, food safety and market, functional and bioactive food, new trends in nutrition and health.  It will be an opportunity to present results and findings in the field of food industry and for discussion about mutual international cooperation. It is designed mainly for food scientists, researchers, technologists, producers and nutritionists. Students and young scientists are also welcomed to participate. F4ESL Project Coordinator, Mr. Samim Saner, will attend CEFood 2010 and present our project poster .
